0The Vietnamese squad set off for Malaysia on the afternoon of August 13, commencing the final stages of preparation for the ASEAN Championship 2026 semifinal first leg against the home team.
The Vietnam team departed from Hanoi on a flight at 14:45 and landed in Kuala Lumpur at 19:10 local time the same day. As the airport was not crowded, coach Kim Sang Sik and his players quickly completed immigration procedures.
A day earlier, team leader Doan Anh Tuan had arrived in Malaysia to conduct advance work, reviewing logistical conditions and preparing necessary arrangements. Thanks to this, the process of receiving the team and traveling to the accommodation went smoothly.
