On August 13, Beijing time, exclusive information from Argentine journalist César Luis Merlo states that Manchester City has officially bid €120 million to Chelsea before the deadline, targeting Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández.

The journalist added that Manchester City chose to make this financial effort due to the explicit request of manager Maresca.
