The Truong Tuoi Group is the main sponsor of the National U16 Championship for three years.

The Truong Tuoi Group once again makes headlines with its latest venture in Vietnamese football, now channeling its investment into a competition for youth talents.

The Truong Tuoi Group continues to show its ambition for a long-term partnership with Vietnamese football by officially becoming the main sponsor of the National U16 Football Championship for three consecutive years, from 2026 to 2028.

The agreement was announced on the morning of August 13 at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). Accordingly, the tournament is named National U16 Football Championship – Truong Tuoi Cup, with the company's support from the very first season.

The notable point lies in the duration of the partnership. Instead of appearing as a sponsor for a single season, Truong Tuoi chose a three-year commitment, thereby demonstrating a deeper investment orientation toward youth football. VFF believes that this collaboration will help improve the quality of organization, while also providing more competition and exposure opportunities for young talents.

This is also not the first time the name Truong Tuoi has prominently appeared in Vietnamese football. The company has invested in Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club, the team that just won the 2025/26 National First Division championship to secure promotion to the V.League for the 2026/27 season. Earlier, Truong Tuoi's football system had also developed a youth academy training model, showing that its investment activities are expanding from professional football to grassroots development.

Therefore, the continued cooperation with VFF carries more significance than a typical brand promotion contract. Truong Tuoi is gradually expanding its football ecosystem, from professional clubs and youth training to partnering with a national-level tournament.

In the 2026 season, the Truong Tuoi Cup features 10 participating teams, including Cong An Ha Noi, The Cong-Viettel, Hanoi, PVF-CAND, Song Lam Nghe An, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Cong An TPHCM, and Becamex TPHCM. The qualifying round will take place from August 22 to November 29, before the four best-performing teams enter the final round expected to be held in December.

Notably, this is also the first time VFF has included a tournament exclusively for the U16 age group in the national competition system. Therefore, Truong Tuoi's decision to partner from the very inception of this playground could lay the foundation for a longer-term relationship.

Three years have been signed on the table. The next thing to look forward to is the mark that Truong Tuoi will create as the company's presence in Vietnamese football continues to expand.
