SLNA 1 secures early qualification, SLNA 2 stops at the 2026 National U15 Qualifying Round

Despite winning the match against Hue I U15 in the series of matches held on March 24 afternoon, Song Lam Nghe An II U15 could not secure a ticket to participate in the 2026 National U15 Final Round.

In Group B, on March 22 afternoon, the Song Lam Nghe An I U15 team led by coach Le Van Hung achieved a 3-1 victory over Hai Phong U15. Consequently, they officially secured a ticket to participate in the 2026 National U15 Football Championship Final Round one match ahead. In the final match on March 24, Song Lam Nghe An U15 continued to win 3-1 against Hai Phong U15 and concluded the Qualifying Round with the second position in Group B.

Meanwhile in Group C, before entering the decisive series of matches, the situation of the group forced Song Lam Nghe An II U15 to win against Hue I U15. Simultaneously, it depended on the results in Group F where Can Tho U15 had to draw or lose to Becamex Ho Chi Minh City and in Group E, Dak Lak had to draw or lose to Hallmen Ho Chi Minh City.

In the context of needing to secure a victory, the Song Lam Nghe An II U15 team, despite achieving the desired result against Hue U15 with a 1-0 score in the March 24 afternoon match thanks to Dinh Tuan's contribution, both Dak Lak U15 and Can Tho U15 won. Thus, Song Lam Nghe An II U15 missed the opportunity to participate in the 2026 National U15 Football Championship Final Round.

Although not securing a ticket to the Final Round, the spirit and effort of coach Nguyen Van Vinh and his team in this tournament are highly commendable as the players are only at the U15 age. Through this tournament, the coaching staff of Song Lam Nghe An II U15 and the players have also gained valuable experience and exposure. This lays the foundation and groundwork for the National U15 Championship next year and subsequent years.

For the Song Lam Nghe An I U15 team, with the early qualification for the 2026 National U15 Final Round, coach Le Van Hung and his team have additional time for preparation and actively aim for the highest goal in this year's tournament. The 2026 National U15 Football Championship Final Round is scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 14, 2026 at Thanh Long Sports Center, Ho Chi Minh City.
